Gary Bennett formed Braidwood Fire Ltd upon completion of his MSc in Fire & Explosion Engineering at the University of Leeds while working with Fife Fire & Rescue Service. Gary wanted to create a fire engineering and fire safety company which was defined by the people who were working within it, their values, ideals and imagination. Integrity and creativity are character traits encourage to flow through the essence of Braidwood Fire and this is done by carefully selecting staff.
The Edinburgh based fire engineering company was built on reputation and relationship with clients who came to Braidwood in 2004 still working with us due to the quality of service which can sometimes only be found in smaller fire engineering companies.
We continue to seek ways to improve and develop our staff, our services and our environment. As the chosen name of Braidwood suggests, we are constantly seeking new opportunities to understand, shape and progress the way in which we live through analysis, research and experience while using solid fire engineering principals as stepping stones to a better future.
